Since March of 2020, we have all made changes in our lives to accommodate the arrival of the coronavirus (Covid-19). These changes include how we live, work, shop and how we obtain professional services. Working remotely and communicating virtually with our employers, employees, and professional advisors has become the new normal. In my experience, very few meetings are being held in the office and the majority are being held virtually. Office staffing has become difficult as employees also prefer to work remotely.
Recognizing these changes in the way we conduct business, effective December 1, 2021, we will discontinue in-office meetings and the office will no longer be regularly staffed. I will personally work remotely so I can continue to serve as fiduciary (Trustee, personal representative, etc.) for those clients who have nominated me to serve. I will also continue to prepare income tax returns for current tax clients. Communications with clients will be held via telephone, email, or Zoom call. I will contact these clients directly with more information.
Unfortunately, I will not be accepting new legal or tax clients and I may have to refer some existing client work to other professionals. For those clients who I will be unable to assist going forward, I do appreciate the time we have spent together. Thank you, and I wish you well.
For those clients continuing under my professional counsel, please rest assured that while the logistics of where I work may be changing, my focus on providing excellent service will not. I appreciate your understanding and flexibility during this transition. I look forward to continuing our professional relationship. Thank you.
